How a haul gets built, then shipped
A haul is not one order — it is a dozen orders that happen to leave in the same box. That changes the rhythm: you spend a few weeks adding things, watch them accumulate in free storage, and only then confront the two decisions that matter, which is what to pack together and which line to send it on. This page follows that rhythm rather than the single-parcel version.
← Back to overviewAdd, hold, pack, send
Buy things over time, let them sit in free storage, consolidate when the haul is complete, then pick a line. The single most common mistake is shipping twice because you would not wait for the last item.

- Holdfree storage means nothing forces you to ship early
- Packconsolidate everything into one dense box
- Sendchoose a line priced for chargeable weight, then track

Adding to a haul
Four moves take a find from this board into Hipobuy storage.
Paste a Taobao, Weidian, 1688 or JD link, or just search the name.
Size and colour are locked at submission — copy them from the row.
Seller price and domestic leg only; freight waits until the box exists.
Each arrival is scanned, photographed and shelved independently.
Nine stages, haul edition
Nine stages per item, and on a haul you will watch that sequence repeat several times over.

Where a haul lives for a few weeks
Roughly two days after the seller posts, the parcel is scanned in, and it is inspected the following day. From there it rests at no cost, which is the mechanism that lets a haul be assembled over several weeks.
Each arrival logged separately against your account.
Images posted per item for you to triage.
Long enough that waiting for a late arrival is the rational choice.
Everything leaves together, or you pay twice.
Sending the haul
Three moves, and the first is where most people lose money.
- 1. Strip the packaging
Retail boxes and filler are billed as if they were product. Remove them.
- 2. Pack densely
Volumetric weight punishes empty space harder than actual weight does.
- 3. Pick the line
Heavy and bulky cargo are priced differently — match the line to the box.
- 4. Track once
One parcel, one tracking number, roughly a day after submission.
Once you submit, the haul is boxed and handed over, and tracking appears on your parcel page. Freight is worked out from the measured weight of the finished box, so the estimate can shift slightly — any gap is settled on your balance.
